Will there be an option to print directly from SD card?
There will not be an SD slot built in directly in to the machine. But there are 4 available USB slots that will allow you to attach any compatible SD card reader.
What are the Nea printers made out of?
We are using hardened steel and aluminium for the shell and aluminium for the printing bed with an optional glass bed
Are your beds heated?
The NEA Pro and NEA Pro+ will have a heated bed to ensure rigidity of the prints that are tall. The NEA Mini will not feature a heated bed because its print volume does not require a heated platform.
Will Nea incorporate End of Filament Detection?
We are currently developing the technology for all of our printers to have EoF detection before we ship them. This ensures that your prints will not quit half way through its job because the filament ran out.
Are your printers going to incorporate dual extruder technology?
We have not scheduled to create a dual extruder for the first shipment, but because our machines will me modular we may offer dual extruders and many other types of extruders down the road.
What type of extruder does it use?
The printers are using an M6 X1 mount with a metal hot end.
